I didn't want to spend nearly $20 for a set of Ken accessories that normally include mediocre clothing and one or two pairs of shoes that probably will slip off easily, especially since all I wanted was the shoes.
I thought that these shoes from Olivia's Doll Closet would be made of that rubber material that gets sticky if its left out in the heat (like Polly Pocket clothing) or has to be cleaned constantly because it gets dirty easily (or even worse, it tears if its handled to often). My shoes arrived in four days and they are actually more durable than a few of the Mattel Ken shoes I own (some nowadays are made of a similar rubber as described above), AND they fit nicely without falling off so stuffing the shoes with tape or cloth is unnecessary. I'm definitely buying more Ken shoes from this seller for my little niece!
